Mid-Level Systems Engineer

SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team! This position requires knowledge of SE and test processes, Oracle PL/SQL applications and scripting, data migration and validation, workflow management best practices.
Candidates must be able to identify, pursue, and complete program priorities with minimal oversight.
This position also requires the ability to work independently and with a team.
Responsibilities:
Derive and maintain system requirementsDevelop test cases for requirement verificationFacilitate User Acceptance Testing (Test Planning through Reporting)Identify and remediate bug fixes within Oracle PL/SQL applicationsDraft simple SQL scripts as needed or work with DBA to develop more complicated scriptsReview Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) platform after upgrades to ensure IDE configurations are as expectedSupport eventual data migration to cloud-based platformsRequired Skills &
Experience:
Ability to draft and manage system requirementsFamiliarity with PL/SQL and Oracle applicationsDemonstrated ability to identify pursue, and complete program priorities with minimal oversightExperience organizing and executing system test eventsExperience configuring systems to meet user needsAdditional Requirements:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
