Systems Engineer II

SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginias Best Places to Work, is looking for a Systems Engineer II to join our team!The Systems Engineer will support operational evaluations relative to system requirements, threats, system architectures, operational requirements, technical design, and performance tradeoffs.
Responsibilities:
Review Engineering Change Proposals, Advance Capability Study Notices, and other work products for accuracy, completeness and impact to the host combat systems Analyze system requirements and participate in performance assessments Analyze data to verify/validate systems performance in accordance with design specifications Provide assessment of collected data and test observations in writing and orally at Technical Interchange and Performance review meetings.
Required Skills &
Experience:
Three years of naval combat systems experience which includes:
Experience with surface Navy Combat Systems (e.
g.
, Aegis, ACDS, SSDS, and DDG-1000) including design, performance, analysis, military applications, or operational experience Experience in the development of Naval Combat Systems including definition, functional allocation, design development, testing, integration and operational deployment Experience in developing and accessing Capability Requirement Documents, Capability Production Documents, System Engineering Plans, System Requirements Documents, System Design Documents and Interface Design Documents Preferred Skills &
Experience:
Naval Air and Surface Warfare Combat Systems familiarity Anti-Air and Surface Warfare track management.
Tactical Data Link Operations Education:
Accredited Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) Accredited Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree from ABET recognized engineering curriculumorBS Degree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that includes 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering scienceMinimum Clearance:
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, followed by an Active Secret ClearanceTravel (if applicable):
Occasional ( 15%) travel to include support for meetings and testing, as required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
